As christmas draws near and small children start trying to find out what presents christmas day will bring,and older children try to steam open presents and bribe the answers out of their parents, I sit here writing this Journal because this year I feel as if I should pass on a very important lesson I have learnt this year. I will not brag or be offended that my deviations have been popular and also a disaster this year. And most importantly. I shall say what I wish to say, because people deserve to hear it, because I have learnt this year, that it only matters what you think, and even though it seems selfish, the person you have to look after most in this world. Is yourself.
On a happier note. Onto what I have learnt this year. I am feeling older than I actually am this year, and I've got a strange feeling that it's because I'm feeling ever so slightly wiser. I have learnt that you shouldn't hide from telling people what you feel, because overall they're gonna find out anyway and not usually in a good way. So save the effort of apologies and hurt feelings by telling them first. Also, people have no right to tell people where they can go and where they can't. People have no right to tell others who they can be friends with and who they can't. These are your decisions and I've upset many people by following this advice in the past two weeks. But they've been some of the best weeks of my year.
So? I hear you say. You have probably stopped reading by now, but the whole point of this is for me to say in a very long and complicated way that it doesn't matter how clever you are or who you know, just follow your heart. Even if you do get it broken, because a winner may be victorious in his glory, but a loser, will be able to learn from the experience and mistakes.
oh, and don't count your chickens before they hatch.
